When there’s a solid sense of self, and past experiences resurface in memory, ripples of embarrassment flow outward. If, what makes us cringe, is part of who we are, then shying away from it is like not wanting the sky to be blue. If it’s adventitious, then being bothered at it as like being bothered by smoke in the air….it will eventually fade.I’ve been enjoying Leifur James’ “Smoke In The Air II” lately and thought to write something. The thoughts above are based on my studies from today and the song title happens to weave nicely into the mix, not to mention its beautifully introspective soundscape.To take it a step further, we started with a solid sense of self, now imagine, that tight grip can let go just a little. With a mind at ease, as past experiences float to the top, they pop gently like an iridescent bubble. It comes; it goes. One can aspire…
