What’s so good?

Boards of Canada rank as one of my top 5 artists of all time. Admittedly I haven’t listened to them much lately, but in my 20s they were on repeat. All. The. Time.

Clearly I wasn’t the only one smitted by them. 

US-based producer Velgas’ latest single “Restored” pays homage to the legends. Describing the track, he says it was “inspired by the wide open spaces of nature “influenced by Boards of Canada, Tycho or Bent.” Not entirely sure I hear the Tycho, nor do I know Bent that well, but you definitely could have fooled me into thinking this was a new BoC track.
