It’s a slow-drive track, layered in melancholia, darkness, and a warm heart. It’s all about letting go, moving on, and going forward. The track gives so much space for the vocals to bellow and grow, and at the end, catches it softly in a misty, midnight outro that had my heart swelling.
“Leave It All Behind, Mike” is truly beautiful and the perfect soundtrack for a starry, quiet night.
