What’s so good?

Heyo, happy new year! Time for me to share my first song of 2026.

This one comes courtesy of New York-based artist B.Miles. It’s called “+1” and is due to be released on her new album Time Doesn’t Heal. It Hides.

The song starts off with a bit of a Thievery Corporation feel. It doesn’t stay trip-hop for that long, though I struggle to put my finger on exactly what to class this as. Alt pop? I guess so. But it’s definitely a bit more refined and complex than your standard alt pop. And for that, it deserves a spot on Indie Shuffle 🙂
