What’s so good?

ANIMA! are stalwarts of Indie Shuffle at this point. Naturally that means that when they release a new album or EP, we’ve got to climb all over it.

Turns out we’re in luck, because Water came out last week. I’ve listened to it a few times, and my main problem with it is that it’s done after a paltry 24 minutes. What kind of album is that?!?! 

Okay, I’ll forgive them though, because it’s a pretty good release. One of my favorite parts has to be the creativity exhibited throughout the instrumentals. “A Light Ray” is a great example of that, with wind chimes laying an ethereal foundation that tickles my eardrums in a most delightful way.
