What’s so good?

It’s odd to write about a song that explores the alienation of modern relationships while I’m, in fact, in total isolation. Amidst the Cederburg mountains, with owls by night and springbuk running alongside the lake when dawn comes, complicated relationships fall by the wayside. Good music, however, finds its place anywhere. 

Valued Customer’s “Total Stranger” stands out with its laid-back bassline and percussion combo, complemented by guitar work that demands attention. It’s the kind of track that reminds you about connection, even when you’re far removed from everyone else.
